Gender Identity Social Media Campaign
We the peer leaders of the Watertown Youth Coalition are working on a community project to see what Watertown High School students know about gender identity and expression. We’re hoping to raise awareness and educate the greater Watertown community through videos that will be posted on social media. Watertown Youth Coalitions goals for this project are to increase wellness factors and decrease stress and negative coping strategies through a gender equity lens. We want to reduce gender bias through gathering our peers answers. The responses will be featured in these videos along with further information about the topic.
